Cherokee Work & Witness 2011We are travelling to Cherokee North Carolina from July 30th to August 7th, 2011. This will be an exciting time as we welcome the German district to join with us. 
Brochure Signup | Projects: - VBS: We will be putting a Vacation Bible School together on the reservation at the ministry center. These are typically a full family VBS and will encompass a wide range of ages. We are looking for teens and adults interested in working with children and families for the entire week.
- Food Pantry: The ministry center has a large food pantry which always needs filling and work.
- Clothing Pantry: Large amounts of clothes are constantly donated to the ministry center. It takes large amounts of work to keep it updated and arranged. This will require the efforts of 3 or 4 people to work through the current clothes, clean them out, go through the new donations, and then put out the fall clothing.
- Construction: We will have multiple opportunities to work on the ministry center as well as individuals houses. These will be in groups of 3 or 4 and will be out working and ministering to individuals.
- Indian Drama: We have had opportunities in the past to work on the Indian drama presented in Cherokee.
- All of these opportunities provide daily chances to work with individuals and share God's word.

- To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs.
- To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church.
- To raise funds for mission outreach.
