Haiti Sunday School Lesson In response to the earthquake and resulting humanitarian disaster in Haiti, WordAction Curriculum has prepared a lesson for use in Sunday School, small groups (NMI, NYI, and others), or Bible study. The material should take between 15-30 minutes to cover and concludes with a call to prayer and action. Included in the lesson are links to helpful information and also a link to video footage from (Nazarene) Global Communications. We have attached the lesson to this email and have copied it below. Please distribute this resource to all of your regional and district mailing lists, especially to local NMI presidents on your districts. Feel free to post it on your Web sites. The material is also available on the WordAction Web site at the link below: Global NMI Director Daniel Ketchum gathered District NMI Presidents meeting in Louisville last Tuesday night to pray for Haiti. Global NMI President Jennifer Brown from Jamaica on the Caribbean region, closed the session in prayer for her Haitian friends and for all of our leaders, churches, and people in Haiti. NMI leaders globally continue to challenge our churches to pray, disciple, give, and educate. Thank you for your diligent care during this crisis in Haiti. |
